A Whole Bunch of Christmas!

Posted by dani handrian
Well, I have a picture overload for you here.  We've been all kinds of busy, so I'm just going to hop right in and show you what my classroom looks like during Christmastime!

We read the Grinch and made these little guys that were inspired by Cara Carroll.  They wrote about things that make them feel grinchy!
They add lots of fun and color to our lockers!

I gave my teammate the templates to a Grinch craft I've been doing for years.  I love how fun they look on the door!!!  Let's just say that our classroom is all Grinch-ed out for our party on Friday!
They did this writing piece in Spanish... LOVE having both languages displayed in my classroom!

To add some more Christmas cheer I hung up my Merry Christmas banner that you can get for FREE here!
We added a green and red chain to our Rudolph letters. I gave each students a few links.  They wrote spelling sentences on the links and we made a chain!  Easy way to add some holiday decor!
We started our parent gifts today.  These Rudolph handprints were easy as pie to make!!!  The kids made their handprint with brown paint, then I cut the handprint out, glued it to red paper, laminated, cut out again, and hot-glued the eyes and nose!

We also made buttoned/jeweled/shaped frames for pictures that I am taking tomorrow.  I got this idea on Instagram from Teacher Bits and Bobs.  Hers are MUCH cuter, but mine will have to do!  I was NOT supervising enough during the making of these, ha!

Oh, and our ice cream cones from my Addition with Regrouping unit are hanging up as well!  We even used Christmas colored ice cream to solve our problems!

These may not be Christmas-y, but they are still cute!  I need at least 1-2 bulletin boards that I won't have to rip down on Friday :).  These are from Ashley Reed's Peggy Parish unit!  She just gave it a HUGE overhaul, and it's even better than it was before!

And, there you have it... that's what my classroom looks like during the holiday season!
